Two days following the incident, the Columbia Police Department arrested three 18-year-olds—Alexis Baumann, Kobe Aust, and Joseph Crane—along with an unidentified male juvenile.
The suspects face charges of second-degree murder, first-degree robbery, and burglary, with Crane also charged with unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action. The adults are held without bond at Boone County Jail, while the juvenile is in custody at the Boone County Juvenile Office.
