Mainstream Media Praises Michelle Obama's Divisive And Angry Speech Against Trump

At the Democratic National Convention, Michelle Obama unleashed a barrage of criticism against Donald Trump and fervently endorsed Kamala Harris for the presidency.

The Daily Mail reported that Obama's aggressive speech came during a charged evening that energized the Democratic base and spotlighted her continued influence in American politics. However, the aggressive and divisive rhetoric has already come under fire from Republicans pointing out Obama's hypocrisy.

Democrats have complained about Trump's rhetoric and his supposedly going low, but the Obamas certainly had no problem being aggressive and going low while receiving the praise of the mainstream media.

On a Tuesday night in Chicago, Michelle Obama took the stage at the United Center, delivering a speech that was as memorable for its fiery rhetoric as for the crowd's enthusiastic response.

Her entrance was marked by the hopeful proclamation that "hope is making a comeback," setting the tone for the night.

Michelle Obama Endorses Kamala Harris

During her speech, Obama did not hold back in her support for Kamala Harris, whom she affectionately called "my girl." She urged the Democratic Party to unite behind Harris, emphasizing that Harris's story "is your story. It's my story. It's the story of the vast majority of Americans trying to build a better life."

This endorsement was punctuated with a plea for unity and strength, reflecting Obama's vision for a supportive Democratic front.

Michelle Obama's remarks were complemented by an appearance from Barack Obama, who also levied criticisms against Trump. The former President compared Trump to a noisy neighbor, emphasizing the disruptive nature of Trump's presidency with humor and stark contrast.

"We don't need four more years of bluster and chaos," Barack Obama stated, aligning his message with Michelle's theme of hope and progress.

Highlights and Celebrity Presence Boost Energy

The convention was not just a platform for political endorsements but also a gathering of notable figures, including Lil Jon, Eva Longoria, and Spike Lee. Their presence, along with the Obamas, underscored the high-profile support for the Democratic ticket.

Michelle Obama's speech also revisited her famous 2016 line, adapting it to the current political climate: "When they go low, we go high — so we can dunk on them." This line drew loud cheers and was a highlight of the evening.

Amidst her endorsement, Michelle Obama also addressed the challenges Kamala Harris would face in the upcoming election. She cautioned about the distortions of truth and the harsh political battles ahead, urging the audience to brace for a tough campaign season.

Her speech painted a picture of a campaign rooted in dignity and perseverance, contrasting sharply with Trump's tactics, which she described as "doubling down on ugly, misogynistic, racist lies."

Nothing says dignity like falsely accusing a political opponent of a laundry list of offenses in an effort to paint them in as ugly a light as possible. Democrats have no qualms about lying about Trump's character but have the gall to complain when Trump is slightly tough on them.
