For the past decade, Democrats and liberals have told us how wonderful transgenders are.
So, when did it become fashionable to use “trans” in a slanderous way?
That is what the right is now asking after former CNN anchor Don Lemon tried to insult former Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly by saying she looked “trans.”
Don Lemon has a problem with women, and he has for a long time.
However, after he got booted from his anchor desk by CNN and was relegated to AM TV, it really started to show.
They were doing a segment on Nikki Haley, who had just called out Biden and Trump for being so old, when Lemon took a shot at her, stating, “A woman is considered to be in her prime in her 20s and 30s and maybe 40s.”
That was the beginning of the end for Donnie. Even his co-hosts were aghast that he took that particular shot at Halley.
It was not much longer after that when the hammer fell at CNN and Lemon was cut loose.
However, he did not find out from the network, but rather from his agent, which really set him off.
After the firing was reported, many people at CNN wrote gushing sentiments about him online, but the birds were whispering something far different behind the scenes.
Lemon ended up going the independent route after that, apparently trying to duplicate what Tucker Carlson did after he was fired from Fox News.
During a recent panel discussion, Lemon, who claims to be an LGBTQ+ advocate, took a nasty shot at Kelly, saying, “I think she looks trans,” and it was not meant as a compliment.
Conservatives immediately came to her defense, stating, “For a man who praises trans people, #DonLemon sure feels comfortable using trans as an insult.”
So, I am just curious, when did it suddenly become okay for someone to use “trans” as an insult, or is it okay for Lemon to do so since he is a member of the LGBTQ+ community?
I won’t hold my breath for the community to strike back, but just imagine the outrage if Donald Trump, or any Republican, for that matter, said that someone like Norah O’Donnell looked trans. How long before there were protests in the street? But it was a liberal, so it’s okay.
