Lara Trump to debut new Fox News weekend show

Lara Trump, formerly known for her diverse career trajectory and family ties in politics, is embarking on a fresh journey with her new show on Fox News, "My View with Lara Trump."

The Sun reported that the show premieres Saturday night at 9 p.m. ET and symbolizes Lara Trump's return to Fox News after stepping down as a contributor in 2022.

Lara Trump's career began in the culinary arts. She earned her degree in pastry arts from the prestigious French Culinary Institute in New York.

Her passion for pastries was a significant part of her early life before making a shift to politics as RNC chair and now a weekend host on Fox News.

From Pastry Kitchens to Newsrooms

In 2008, Lara met Eric Trump, the son of former President Donald Trump, at a New York City nightclub. Their relationship culminated in a wedding six years later at Mar-a-Lago, Florida, showcasing her gradual immersion into the Trump family's world.

Before her rise in political circles, Lara transitioned into television, securing a role at "Inside Edition" as a story coordinator and later as an associate producer.

By 2016, the pull of her family's burgeoning political presence was unavoidable, prompting a departure from her media position to join Donald Trump's presidential campaign.

Lara Trump was involved in the White House following Donald Trump's 2016 election victory. She also played a significant role in the 2020 re-election campaign, displaying her increasing influence in political arenas.

In March 2021, Lara crossed into media once more, joining Fox News as a contributor. However, her stint came to a temporary pause in 2022 when Donald Trump announced another presidential run. This decision necessitated Lara's withdrawal from her role to avoid conflicts of interest.

By March 2024, she had assumed the role of co-chair of the Republican National Convention. Yet by December, she decided to step down, preparing for a return to television, now by anchoring her own show on Fox News.

Her upcoming show, "My View with Lara Trump," is billed as a return of common sense into American life. The focus will be on insightful analysis and engaging interviews, providing Lara with a platform to voice her opinions directly to the public.

The debut episode is set to feature interviews with notable women from the Trump administration. This lineup includes White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, Attorney General Pam Bondi, and Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, setting an enthusiastic tone for the series.

Hosting a show marks Lara Trump’s latest foray back into media. Her previous comment about the complexities of being part of a media family during campaigns emphasized her former challenges at balancing roles. Now, she relishes engaging directly with audiences without familial constraints.

Brian Kilmeade’s "One Nation with Brian Kilmeade" has shifted slots to accommodate Lara Trump's new show, moving to Sundays at 10 p.m. This change highlights the network's intent to allocate a primetime position for Lara Trump’s anticipated return.

Gearing Up for the Spotlight

Lara’s reflections on maintaining equilibrium amid familial affiliations during her media endeavors underscore her commitment to a balanced portrayal of news. Her statement shows her eagerness to return to the FOX platform and connect with the American public.

Her journey from the culinary arts to political influence underscores a trajectory marked by diverse experiences, making this new chapter particularly notable. Lara Trump's varied career stages have evidently prepared her for this prominent role.

Lara’s intent with her Fox News broadcast is clear: to highlight what she deems the important aspects that define the United States. Her new role allows her to leverage her personal and professional insights into a media format, directly engaging with viewers.

This next step in Lara Trump’s career promises to be dynamic, as "My View with Lara Trump" aims to engage audiences by showcasing significant voices and perspectives. Her anticipation of "bringing her voice back to Fox News" stands as a testament to her dedication and enthusiasm for media.
