In an interview with The Tucker Carlson Encounter that was released on Monday, Kid Rock had nothing but praise for the steely resolve that former President Donald Trump possesses.
According to a report by Breitbart News, Carlson asked the singer his opinion, saying "You seen Trump a lot recently. How’s he doing?
Kid Rock responded, saying Trump was the "Toughest son of a bitch on the earth."
"He’s doing great, it’s incredible," Rock went on. "I love spending time with him and getting to know him.
"Since he became president, the first few months having dinner at the White House with him, and from there on, we’ve just hit it off.
"I can relate to him in a lot of ways as someone who might speak out of turn a lot bit and and say what’s on my mind. If you look at his track record and who he is as a whole, there’s a lot more good there than anything.
Carlson pressed further, saying "Without betraying the details of the conversation, you’ve been with Trump a bunch of times since he’s got indicted and the world has been crashing in around him, how does he seem?
Kid Rock said he "Can’t tell" before Carlson pressed further, asking, "really?
"No, when we’re golfing or hanging out in different scenarios, his spirits are always up and he’s always talking about his country," Kid Rock said.
"He’s always talking about this country and how he wants to win. I’ve never seen anybody who wants to win for this country like that guy and I don’t think we’ll ever seen anything like that in our lifetime. He’s the greatest president we’ve had."
Trump has faced numerous challenges, despite being in the lead in the polls, as a latest Reuters/Ipsos survey shows that in a head-to-head matchup, the former president would edge out the current president by at least two percentage points.
This given that a quarter of respondents who were unsure of who they would vote for in 2024.
According to the report in Reuters, “Trump also led Biden by five points in the seven swing states when Kennedy was as [sic] option.”
When asked who they think would be better suited to manage the economy, respondents gave Trump a 45 percent to 33 percent lead over Biden. On the other hand, when it comes to "abortion access," Biden is ahead with 42% to 32% of the vote.
