Key witness in Fani Willis case may have lied about Willis's alleged relationship with special prosecutor Nathan Wade

Divorce attorney Terrence Bradley took the witness stand to take questions about the alleged unethical affair between Fulton County DA Fani Willis and special prosecutor Nathan Wade.

During that testimony, Bradley was evasive and refused to answer questions concerning several details about conversations he had with Wade who was a former client of Bradley. He may have perjured himself and the prospect of being convicted of perjury is very real.

Defense attorney Ashleigh Merchant, who represents one of former President Donald Trump's co-defendants, pressed Bradley on the texts based on previous communications she had already had with him.

One of those conversations between Merchant and Bradley was about whether the romantic relationship started before Willis hired Wade in 2021. Bradley had responded with "absolutely" in that conversation but on the witness stand refused to commit to that position.

Bradley implied that he had been "speculating" about when the relationship began in the messages with Merchant but he's now opened himself up to serious questions about if he is being truthful.

Bradley got caught

To add to the likelihood that Bradley was lying, he appeared to mutter "dang" to himself when he was confronted with the text messages on Tuesday.

He's claiming that those messages didn't prove Willis and Wade began their relationship earlier than they claimed. However, it seems clear that Bradley got caught by Merchant and Trump's army of attorney's and now he's trying to lie his way out of this predicament.

Later in the testimony, Attorney Richard Rice pressed Bradley by asking him if he regularly circulated "lies about your friends."

If Bradley's claim that he was simply "speculating" is true, it means he has made a habit of lying and spreading extremely damaging rumors about the people he's involved with.

Regardless, speculation about if Bradley is lying or not is irrelevant as the full text conversation has been released to the public.

In that conversation not only did Bradley admit that Willis and Wade's relationship began sooner than they admitted, he also explained how the couple had met. There is no doubt that Willis made a huge mistake and it could cost her the indictment she wanted so badly.

Trump won

Fani Willis was so consumed with indicting Trump that she outright campaigned and raised funds promising to take Trump down.

Now her precious indictment is all but over and she will likely be disqualified from the case. It's entirely possible that her career will never recover from this and Democrats will resent her failure.

Democrats were counting on Willis to secure a criminal indictment against Trump that would have helped Biden in 2024. Instead, Trump comes away stronger than ever all while simultaneously showing the nation that Democrats have politicized the justice system.
