FBI Director Kash Patel has publicly denounced recent allegations in the media regarding a "honeypot" scheme targeting former President Donald Trump.

In recent days, media outlets have circulated claims accusing a reputable female FBI agent of engaging in an illicit operation targeting Donald Trump during the Obama administration.
Director Kash Patel confronted these statements, dismissing the accusations as baseless and unjust toward the agent.

"A female agent was falsely referenced in the media this week... she was NOT a honeypot," Patel stated on the social media platform X.
