These solicitations mainly target small-dollar contributors alongside personalized outreach to larger donors.
The fundraising strategy capitalizes on an extensive email list from Harris' campaign, deemed lucrative for its potential reach and engagement.
During the campaign, Democrats organized high-profile events featuring celebrities and musicians, alongside unconventional advertising ventures such as Las Vegas' domed Sphere venue. These efforts were part of a broader strategy to maximize exposure and fundraising opportunities.
Despite these extensive efforts, the Harris campaign faced financial realities, leading to the cessation of senior staff payments just last Saturday, although health insurance is covered through the end of the year.
By mid-October, Harris' campaign reported $119 million cash on hand.
However, the campaign is still processing outstanding receipts, including those from media organizations.
