Vice President Kamala Harris blasted former President Donald Trump during an interview, saying Americans will demand justice regarding a potential indictment.
Harris shared the remarks during an interview on NBC's "Meet the Press" on Sunday.

"I think that our country is a country that has gone through different periods of time where the unthinkable has happened, and where there has been a call for justice, and justice has been served," she said.
"And I think that's potentially going to always be the case in our country that people are going to demand justice and they rightly do," Harris added.

The wide-ranging interview also asked Harris about her views on democracy, abortion and the upcoming election. Unlike President Joe Biden's scripted responses, Harris spoke with rambling responses that often entered areas unrelated to questions.
The response about Trump's possible indictment was no surprise, but the outcome may not be what she thinks when it comes to voters during the midterms.
