Vice President Kamala Harris has done it again: She has delivered another word salad.
The incident, which was captured on camera, took place during Harris's recent meetup with Mongolian Prime Minister Luvsannamsrai Oyun-Erdene.
It’s the first time a Mongolian prime minister has visited the United States since 2018, giving the country — whose population of 3.4 million is smaller than Brooklyn’s and whose 2021 GDP of $15 billion was about a quarter of Rhode Island’s — a platform in the U.S. for a day.
The meetup was billed by the White House as an opportunity for Harris and Oyun-Erdene to discuss their "economic and commercial relationship … and a range of regional and global issues, including China and Russia."
As often happens with Harris, however, things went south in a hurry. Take a look:

Fox News reports that Harris, here, used the phrase "our space cooperation" three times in less than 30 seconds.
Today, I am pleased to announce that the next steps in our work together will be about further expanding our partnership. In particular, we will discuss the work that we will do together to strengthen our space cooperation. You and I spoke briefly about the beginning of the next era — and, for you, what that means, in terms of your leadership and your vision for the future, and certainly, strengthening our space cooperation would be a part of that agenda — including, of course, using our space cooperation to think about how we strengthen the economic prosperity and development of our nations
Oyun-Erdene politely nodded his head at various times as Harris struggled to spit this statement out. But, surely, he was just as confused as everyone else was.
The sad fact is that this is nothing out of the ordinary for Harris. Throughout her vice presidency, Harris has served up countless words salads, enough to rival President Joe Biden's gaffe count.
Harris, in fact, made multiple word salads in just the past week alone.
At the recent 2023 Essence Festival of Culture, for example, Harris said:
Culture is — it is a reflection of our moment and our time. Right? And present culture is the way we express how we're feeling about the moment and we should always find times to express how we feel about the moment. That is a reflection of joy. Because, you know…it comes in the morning. We have to find ways to also express the way we feel about the moment in terms of just having language and a connection to how people are experiencing life. And I think about it in that way, too.
Or, here is another example from the speech she just gave at the Sycamore & Oak retail village in D.C.:
And so, for years we have worked to expand investment in community banks because, you see, community banks specialize in providing loans and financial assistance to small business owners, in particular those in overlooked and underserved communities, including rural communities. And as the name suggests, community banks are in the community.
That's our vice president!
