Vice President Kamala Harris celebrated the 50th anniversary of hip-hop at her Washington residence over the weekend.
The celebration included many stars from the genre and even some interesting dance moves from the vice president herself.

“To be clear, hip-hop culture is America’s culture,” Harris said.
“It is music and melody and rhyme. Hip-hop is also an ethos of strength and self-determination; of ambition and aspiration; of pride, power, and purpose. Hip-hop is a declaration of identity. It says I love who I am. I represent where I come from, and I know where I’m going," she added.

RNC Research posted a video of Harris dancing at the event and blasted the vice president's party while not working to do more in her role as the nation's "border czar."
"Kamala Harris threw a party at her house today to observe 50 years of hip-hop," it posted.
"Unrelated: the 'border czar's' one and only visit to the border was 806 days ago," it added.

Others were more concerned over the vice president's dance moves, according to a report from the New York Post.
"Kamala Harris was ridiculed online Saturday for busting out her 'granny moves' during a White House party she hosted celebrating the 50th anniversary of hip-hop," it wrote. "Critics pounced on the vice president for revolving through a series of tired, bare-minimum shuffles at the outdoor fete."
The celebration only served to further anger many Americans upset over the vice president's lack of action in key areas, especially the border crisis, where she was appointed a leader but has done little to help curb record levels of migrant crossings.
Harris has also been known for her odd speeches and even a toxic office environment which has led to high turnover in her office over the past two and a half years serving under President Joe Biden. The actions have led to concerns for Democrats who see Biden as a concern for a second term due to his age and health with little confidence in Harris leading the nation if he is unable to do so before his second term ends with him at the age of 86.
