Joe Biden recently gave $700M to violent Palestinian group

President Joe Biden recently restored funding to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), a group accused of support violence in Gaza.

The report comes as Hamas terrorists in Gaza recently attacked Israel, killing over 1,200 people since Saturday.

The attacks

"The terrorists slaughtered Israeli civilians, including infants and the elderly, and desecrated corpses, filming their gruesome acts and uploading them online," Breitbart News reported.

"At a peace music festival, the jihadists opened fire on, beat, tortured, and abducted unsuspecting attendees. Israeli news outlets reported the discovery of the headless bodies of babies in communities ravaged by Hamas members," it added.

Conservatives respond

“It is well known that UNRWA has a history of employing people connected to terrorist movements like Hamas, promoting anti-Semitic material in its textbooks, and allowing Hamas to use its schools to store weapons. U.S. taxpayer dollars should never be used to help fund such a corrupt organization," Sen. Jim Risch stated.

"The Biden Administration argued that resuming funding for UNRWA would force necessary reforms. However, almost two years later, progress on reforms has been woefully inadequate," he continued.

The problem

"Sending US funds to this group is beyond nuts, but taxpayers had been ponying up as much as $400 million a year for just that purpose — until President Donald Trump put an end to the lunacy in 2018. UNRWA was 'irredeemably flawed,' Trump said, in a rare-for-him understatement," a New York Post op-ed stated.

"Yet in April, Biden restarted the aid, much of which goes to help Hamas provide social services in Gaza, freeing up cash for more nefarious purposes. Hamas showed its deep appreciation a few weeks later — by firing 4,000 rockets at Israel," it noted.

The issue has now become a major problem as terrorists in Hamas have attacked Israel, leading to new war in the Middle East.

Instead of promoting peace, the support has likely fueled violence in the region, with Gaza now under siege due to the work of terrorists taking action against civilians in Israel.

Biden faces yet another international conflict in addition to Ukraine, adding to problems in security issues as the president seeks a second term in the White House in 2024.
