President Joe Biden was criticized intensely by all sides of the political spectrum for failing to make an appearance in East Palestine, Ohio after the devastating, toxic train wreck that wreaked havoc on the town. 

According to Breitbart, when he was recently confronted over his lack of visiting the town after he promised to do so, he provided a sorry and embarrassing excuse.

Biden told reporters that he simply hasn't had time to visit the town, even though he's vacationed more than any president in history.

"I haven’t had the occasion to go to East Palestine. There’s a lot going on here, and I just haven’t been able to break. I was thinking about I’d go to East Palestine this week but then I was reminded I’ve gotta go literally around the world."

He added, "I’m going from, from Washington to India to Vietnam to — and so it’s gonna be awhile but we’re making sure that East Palestine has what they need materially in order to deal with their problems."

While he's usually slow out of the gate to drop in when he's needed after a disaster strikes, the president made time to visit Florida after Hurricane Idalia and Maui after the devastating wildfires.

Breitbart added:

However, it is not clear why Biden has not found the time to visit East Palestine, which is still recovering from the spill. It is expected to cost at least $803 million to remove all the hazardous chemicals, as well as other related costs, according to the Associated Press.

Not surprisingly, Biden was torched for his answer regarding his lack of visiting East Palestine.

"Vietnam…? Really…? That’s a real HOT SPOT right now… Really important that sleepy Joe goes to Vietnam.." another social media user wrote.

"40% of his time in office on vacation often for weeks on end," another user wrote.

It's truly astonishing that Biden refused to visit the town. All he had to do was drop in for an hour, or less, and he would have avoided a mountain of negative press. It's almost as if he truly doesn't care, whatsoever.
