Jeffries accuses Trump of trying to steal elections

Once again, Democrats are trying to use Texas as a way to justify further gerrymandering their congressional maps.

We have seen several Democrats already say they will eliminate more GOP seats.

House Minority Leader Jeffries (D-N.Y.) has taken it a step further, deflecting by accusing Trump of rigging the election.

The Truth

If you look at congressional maps, it is rather eye-opening.

There are several maps on both sides that have no or minimal representation of the other side.

For example, Maryland only has one seat for Republicans, and Illinois only has three.

California maps give Republicans about half the representation they should have, so this issue is present on both sides.

Newsom Makes His Move

California Governor Gavin Newsom was looking for a reason to take seats away from the GOP, who only have 12 seats despite nearly 40% of the vote.

Before Governor Abbott had signed the new maps into law, Newsom signed legislation to gerrymander his maps. This is a big deal because Newsom said he would only do this in response to Texas, but technically, he made the move first.

He stated, “We’re responding to what occurred in Texas.

“We’re neutralizing what occurred, and we’re giving the American people a fair chance, because when all things are equal, we’re all playing by the same rules.”

Rigging the Election

Democrats are masters of gaslighting and deflection, and that is what Jeffries is doing now, creating a new narrative to try to deflect away from the fact Dems have been rigging maps worse than the GOP.

He stated, “House Democrats are going to respond from coast to coast and at all points in between, as has been done in California, as has been done forcefully, immediately and appropriately to ensure that Donald Trump cannot steal the midterm elections.”

This has always been my worry, as Democrats have far more bullets to play than the GOP. Democrats have some very large states in their back pocket, such as New York and Pennsylvania, where they can literally erase dozens of seats. If they do that, these elections will not even be close.

I don’t think any of these maps will come into play, as I expect them all to be challenged and held up in court, but if they do go into play, the GOP is going to get wiped out in the 2026 midterms. Let’s just hope the courts move very slowly on this.
