Rapper Jeezy announced plans for divorce with TV host Jeannie Mai as the two battle over custody rights over their daughter.
The news comes after a court filing noted the breakup of the high-profile entertainment couple.

"The 'Soul Survivor' rapper filed for divorce in September after two years of marriage. Since then, the former 'The Real' host has temporarily lived in the couple's Los Angeles home; both have addressed custody arrangements on an 'informal' basis, according to the latest court filing," USA Today reported.
"The filing continues to say that both parties are in agreement with a visitation schedule through 2023, but according to Jenkins, addressing 'custodial and parenting time issues' informally is 'becoming increasingly less feasible,'" it added.

Her lawyer writes, "Wife reserves the right to amend this counterclaim to add other grounds for divorce, but which Wife does not wish to specify herein at this time in the hope this matter can be resolved without having to disclose such conduct publicly."
"Wife further shows that the Court should enforce Paragraph 8 of the Prenuptial Agreement regarding infidelity which provides, in pertinent part, that in the event that either party engages in sexual relations, an emotional relationship, or is emotionally or sexually suggestive in communication with a third party via all forms of electronic communications, including but not limited to texting, sexting, Facetiming, social media and/or Direct Messages, shall result in a significant financial penalty upon the adulterous party," it continued.

"Infidelity speculation has been a hot topic in the divorce proceedings from the beginning, as is often the case in such matters. The discussion landed some timely virality in November thanks to a viral clip from Jeezy's interview with Nia Long," Complex reported.
"I want to be honorable and just... Anybody that's real—and when I say real, I mean real with yourself—there's a sense of integrity there," Jeezy said in the interview. "My life is built on integrity. That's my moral compass. If I'm not integral, I'm off."
The battle over the custody of their daughter has not been finalized and may take some time before a conclusion to the battle occurs.
