Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner to become more involved if Trump wins in 2024

Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner may soon be more involved in former President Donald Trump's campaign, and look to be part of his potential second term.

The report comes as the former president's daughter and son-in-law have appeared more frequently with Trump over the summer.

Recent sightings

"Last November, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner were notably absent from the former president’s announcement that he was launching another bid for his second term in office," Biz Pac Review reported.

"Now, repeated sightings of the power couple in close proximity to the one-time commander-in-chief have spurred suggestions of a reentry into politics," it added.

Rumors growing

"Rumors about their renewed involvement in his 2024 campaign began to swirl after they were spotted among MAGA elites at a private event in Trump's Bedminster golf club last month," the Daily Mail reported.

"Since then, the couple have been seen 'far more frequently' at political networking and campaign events - ostensibly as members of the family rather than in an official advisory capacity - as Trump's ratings rise," it continued.

Questions remain

"According to Trump advisers, Ivanka and Kushner have been more visible lately, stoking speculation that the pair could take an active role in Trump’s 2024 campaign," Vanity Fair reported.

"They have been living at their cottage on the grounds of Bedminster, sources said. And last month Ivanka attended her father’s birthday dinner, a source added," it noted.

Ivanka Trump was a strong part of her father's first successful campaign for office. She also acted as an advisor on his behalf during his time in the White House.

Jared Kushner served as an advisor as well. His most notable achievement was helping to negotiate the Abraham Accords to normalize relations between Israel and some of its neighbors.

The recent moves are relatively quiet so far but could lead to future involvement by the power couple in Washington if Trump returns to the White House in his 2024 comeback bid against President Joe Biden.
