A meeting in the Turkish Parliament took a bizarre turn this week after one lawmaker collapsed after a speech.
According to the Daily Caller, Islamist party politician Hasan Bitmez, 53, suddenly collapsed and dropped to the floor after giving a fiery, anti-Israel speech.
The moment, which took place at the General Assembly Hall in Ankara, Turkey, was captured on video and made the rounds on social media, especially given that it happened after his antisemitic rant.
"We can perhaps hide from our conscience but not from history... Israel will suffer the wrath of Allah," the lawmaker said seconds before he hit the floor behind the podium.

Notably, one of his political rivals, Turhan Çömez, was the first to rush to provide life-saving aid to the Islamist politician.
The Daily Caller noted:
Bitmez was removed from the building after receiving a series of chest compressions, according to Turkish outlet Gazete Duvar. He was transported to the Bilkent City Hospital where he was categorized as a critical case, Daily Mail reported.
The timing of the collapse stirred speculation across social media, as it was directly after the politician slammed Israel relentlessly.
Several social media users pointed out the timing.
"It appears someone else suffered “the wrath of Allah” Even God will not condone the terrorism of Hamas that brought terrible death and suffering to the Jewish homeland We are all witnesses: Hasan Bitmez and his friends in Hamas will not be allowed to mock the God of Abraham and his sons, Isaac and Ismail," one X user wrote.

"Those who curse Israel will be cursed," another X user wrote.
God blesses those who bless Israel and curses those who curse Israel. I don’t care if you believe that or not. I will be proven correct on this sooner than you want to think.
