"PressTV quoted another Iraqi militant leader, Akram al-Kaabi of Harakat Hezbollah Nujaba, echoing Hamidawi’s warning and promising a 'military response' (i.e. terrorist attack) against any country that intervenes on Israel’s behalf," Breitbart News reported.
“If (the Americans) intervene, we would intervene,” said a third militant boss, Hadi al-Amiri of the Badr Organization. “We will consider all American targets legitimate.”

"Israeli Defense Forces mounted a swift response, triggering a war between the nation and Hamas, which controls the besieged Gaza Strip," USA Today reported.

"Israel has formed an emergency government and war management cabinet in the wake of Hamas' surprise attacks on border communities, and hundreds of thousands of Israeli ground troops have gathered near the Gaza Strip," CNN reported.
"Former defense minister Benny Gantz will join Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and current Defense Minister Yoav Gallant in a wartime cabinet. 'There is time for war and time for peace. This, now, is the time for war,' Gantz said Wednesday during a televised address," it continued.
Despite the Iraqi terrorist group's threats, the U.S. is unlikely to bow to pressure in its support to Israel.
The massive attacks by Hamas have included reports of slaughtered children and mass killings of civilians by Hamas in Israel, with over 1,200 reported deaths.
The issue may instead make the battle in Israel more difficult for the Middle East as the U.S. could face new attacks in an already heated region as it seeks to support its ally Israel in the days ahead following the Hamas attacks.
