Hunter Biden's decision to not show up to hearing after saying he would strengthens charges of corruption against Biden family

Hunter Biden once bragged that he would do a public hearing in front of the House of Representatives but ended up backing out.

Biden's bravado may have landed him in trouble as his failure to appear for a hearing in front of the House has only strengthened the charges against the Biden family and their alleged corrupt business activities.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer's opening statement obtained by Fox News stated, "What is apparent, after over a year of investigation, is that the Bidens do not work in any traditional sense of the word. They do not work as consultants. Or lawyers. Or advisors. The Bidens don’t sell a product or a service or a set of skills. The Bidens sell Joe Biden."

Hunter Biden had an opportunity to clear his name by appearing and presenting evidence countering Republican findings, but he didn't.

The Bidens are circling the wagons and preparing for a long siege as Republicans continue their impeachment inquiry.

Bombshell testimony

Comer summarized how the Bidens have become so fabulously wealthy. Comer stated, "The scam is simple. The Biden family promises they can make a foreign partner’s problems go away by engaging the U.S. government. It’s done over and over again. The Biden family promises Joe’s power, Joe Biden shows up, and millions of dollars come into the Bidens’ pockets. Joe Biden is the Biden family’s closer."

A former business associate of Hunter Biden's, Tony Bobulinski, appeared at the hearing as well as another former associate, Jason Galanis.

Galanis is currently serving a 14-year prison sentence but testified virtually from Federal Prison Camp in Alabama.

In a written statement, Galanis stated, "The entire value-add of Hunter Biden to our business was his family name and his access to his father, Vice President Joe Biden. Because of this access, I agreed to contribute equity ownership to them – Hunter and Devon – for no out-of-pocket cost from them in exchange for their 'relationship capital.'"

Republicans have long claimed that Hunter and Joe Biden have been selling access to the White House for years and the testimony of the Biden's former business partners confirm those suspicions.

It really wasn't difficult to understand that something fishy was going on with Hunter Biden who continually landed advisory roles in a wide variety of industries despite having no qualifications outside of his name.

Impeachment proceedings

Comer further stated, "Hunter Biden for months stated he wanted a public hearing, but now that one has been offered alongside his business associates that he worked with for years, he is refusing to come. During our deposition and interview phase of our investigation, Hunter Biden confirmed key evidence, including evidence that his father, President Joe Biden, lied to the American people about his family’s business dealings and, in fact, attended meetings, spoke on speakerphone and had coffee with his foreign business associates who collectively funneled millions to the Bidens."

So with the testimony of Bobulinski, Galanis, and the mountains of evidence Republicans have collected, the effort to impeach President Joe Biden will be moving forward.

Of course, there's virtually no chance of a Democrat Senate approving any impeachment resolution. The purpose of these hearings is to get the facts out there about the Biden family's corruption as voters consider who will be the president for the next four years.
