"A few months after Joe Biden announced his candidacy in 2019, information available to the Committee shows Hunter Biden received two wires from China for $250,000 and $10,000, including from Jonathan Li," the Oversight Committee stated.
"More alarming, the wires have Joe Biden’s home in Wilmington, DE as the beneficiary address. Weeks after those payments were made, Hunter’s lawyer George Mesires said Hunter Biden served with BHR 'only as a member of its board of directors,' which was purportedly an 'unpaid position,'" it continued.

“Joe Biden’s abuse of public office for his family’s financial gain threatens our national security," committee chairman James Comer (R-KY) stated.
"What did the Bidens do with this money from Beijing? Americans demand and deserve accountability for President Biden and the First Family’s corruption. The Oversight Committee, along with the Judiciary and Ways and Means Committees, will continue to follow the evidence and money to provide transparency and accountability," he added.
The new information adds to further concerns about Hunter Biden's business deals. Most previous information focused on the time period with his father was vice president.
The new wires occurred while Biden was running for president, adding to concerns about the accusations against the Biden family.
The latest news will likely be used as part of the House GOP's impeachment inquiry that seeks to remove Biden from office over his past actions.
