During the 2016 presidential campaign, Hillary pulled all kinds of tricks to try to win the election. For instance, her campaign backed the funding of the Steele dossier, and the FEC fined her for it.
Now, after new documents revealed even more detailed roles in the Russian collusion narrative, an ethics complaint has been filed that could cost Clinton her law license.
For all the railing Hillary does about the 2106 election, the media constantly fails to call her out over the fact that she funded the Steele dossier, which was later debunked by intelligence agencies.
Not only that, but Hillary also tried to hide it because she knew it was wrong.
The complaint stated, “By intentionally obscuring their payments through Perkins Coie and failing to publicly disclose the true purpose of those payments,” the campaign and DNC “were able to avoid publicly reporting on their statutorily required FEC disclosure forms the fact that they were paying Fusion GPS to perform opposition research on Trump with the intent of influencing the outcome of the 2016 presidential election.”
Collectively, Hillary’s campaign and the DNC were fined $113,000 for the violation. Of course, the DNC played this down as much as possible, stating, “We settled aging and silly complaints from the 2016 election about ‘purpose descriptions’ in our FEC report.”
A campaign official for Clinton, Robby Mook, had stated that he was aware that it was Hillary who approved the campaign against Trump, stating, “We discussed it with Hillary,” later adding that “she agreed with the decision.”
There was also a report that surfaced regarding emails that traced this all back to Hillary, so we have witness testimony and an alleged email trail.
Yet, the New York Times still ran a piece that said the Hillary emails were likely created by the Russians, based on an assumption by Special Counsel John Durham.
Now, this was an assumption by Durham, not something that was proven. However, after the testimony by Mook, one would have to think that Durham got this wrong, correct? But it just goes to show how far the media will go to protect Democrats (by the way, the report I cited about Hillary was printed in CNN).
An ethics complaint has been filed by Democracy Restored, citing the Arkansas Professional Conduct code regarding "Dishonesty" and "Prejudice to the Administration of Justice.”
The complaint states, "Within this release, there is an annex, which suggests that Clinton approved a plan created by one of her advisors to release false information with the purpose ‘to smear’ her political opponent during a presidential campaign and distract from the news surrounding her own legal accusations.”
It continues, "This revelation demands an already overdue inquiry into Clinton’s fitness as a member of the Arkansas Bar."
I don’t know if this will go anywhere, but I sure hope it does. At this point, I couldn't care less if Hillary ever has to go to jail, but I would love for something to be proven so we can finally shut the media and Democrats up about how she was wronged in the election. She cheated, and she got caught… It’s that simple.
