President Joe Biden received an email on his alias account regarding Ukraine that also copied his son, Hunter Biden, Breitbart reported. This correspondence was routed through his private server in the White House in a move similar to Hillary Clinton's email scandal.
The 2016 email about Ukraine to the then-vice president was sent from the government email of former senior adviser John Flynn. It also contains an attachment, which House investigators are demanding to see unredacted.
The elder Biden used the alias Robert L. Peters, which appears in at least 27 emails on Hunter Biden's infamous abandoned laptop. The alias had a "@pci.gov" domain reserved under the Executive Office of the President and certain agencies as an alternative communication route.
This is unusual, especially concerning the link between Hunter and Joe Biden and their corrupt foreign business ties. Kash Patel, former President Donald Trump's Deputy Assistant and Deputy Director of National Intelligence, said Joe Biden's use of the server and the domain for his alias was akin to Clinton's email scandal.
"Hillary's home-brew ain't got nothing on Robert Peters government funded money laundering operation," Patel told Breitbart News. "Joe Biden used taxpayer dollars, while vice president to set up an 'offshore' style email server — based in the White House — to route all of his emails regarding his and Hunter's business dealings with the Chinese, Ukrainians, and others," he added.
"As the sitting vice president, we have now seen direct evidence that Joe Biden tied himself to his son's illegal bribery schemes from the halls of the White House. Where are the indictments?" Patel asked
"If Bill Barr assigned David Weiss to investigate this, how did they 'miss it' or, more likely, covered it up," Patel said of the special counsel. Sens. Ron Johnson (R-WI) and Chuck Grassley (R-IA) have already been asking these questions about the alias but are being blocked by the White House.
"I've been suspicious ever since my office uncovered this fact back in 2021, and we have unfortunately gotten no response from the White House to the four letters that my office has sent on this matter," Johnson said. "It is incredibly worrisome that Joe Biden continues to evade our oversight efforts surrounding his corruption," he added.
House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer had the same reasoning when he demanded the National Archives release everything related to the email account for further scrutiny. "Joe Biden has stated there was 'an absolute wall' between his family's foreign business schemes and his duties as Vice President, but evidence reveals that access was wide open for his family's influence peddling," the Kentucky Republican said in a statement.
"The National Archives must provide these unredacted records to further our investigation into the Biden family's corruption," Comer said. His committee is also requesting drafts of the speech Biden made on Dec. 9, 2015, to the Ukrainian parliament, Fox News reported.
At the time, Joe Biden was in Ukraine to get leaders to fire prosecutor general Viktor Shokin, who was investigating Burisma founder Mykola Zlochevsky. Hunter Biden was on the board of the Ukrainian energy company at that time.
Joe Biden successfully strongarmed the nation's leaders to fire Shokin despite the obvious conflict of interest. Comer has requested the drafts of his remarks in order to craft legislation to prevent such a move in the future.
"The Committee's need for these Vice-Presidential records is specific and well-documented," Comer said in his letter to the National Archives. "The Committee seeks to craft legislative solutions aimed at deficiencies it has identified in the current legal framework regarding ethics laws and disclosure of financial interests related to the immediate family members of Vice Presidents and Presidents—deficiencies that may place American national security and interests at risk."
Both Joe Biden and Clinton used private servers to conduct official government business and who knows what else. However, mounting evidence of a tangled web of corruption weaved by the Biden family makes the president's version that much worse.
