Hillary Clinton uses email scandal to mock Donald Trump's indictment

The announcement that former President Donald Trump had been indicted for a second time spurred many of his political enemies to capitalize on the situation.

According to Breitbart, failed former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton used the indictment news to sell merch based on a line she and her supporters used to mock the former president, "But her emails."

Clinton tweeted the message and a link to the website where "But her emails" hats can be purchased.

"Bringing this back in light of recent news: Get a limited-edition But Her Emails hat and support @onwardtogether groups working to strengthen our democracy," Clinton tweeted.

Though she jokes about it now and uses it to make money, Clinton was previously embroiled in an email scandal that involved some 30,000 missing emails that were reportedly wiped from her private server.

Many believe the emails that were deleted from her private server contained damning information that would have likely resulted in serious criminal trouble.

Breitbart noted:

Clinton, who served as Secretary of State under former President Barack Obama, mishandled classified information on a private server “likely used to hide efforts to use her office to raise money for her family’s foundation,” as Breitbart News reported. She scrubbed 33,000 emails, but FBI Director James Comey infamously recommended against charges against Clinton in the summer of 2016. That statement was also reportedly watered down to soften the gravity of Clinton’s actions.

Not surprisingly, Clinton was torched on social media for the ridiculous tweet.

"Bragging about the weaponization of the DOJ to give democrats a pass and target Republicans isn’t a great look," Jason Rantz tweeted.

Lady, you mishandled classified information through a server that wasn’t secured or authorized at State … you lied about it. Just stop," Matt Vespa tweeted.

Clearly, Clinton believes her email scandal was nothing more than a joke, but that shouldn't surprise anyone.
