Two-time failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is once again in the spotlight as conservatives called her out for denying the legitimacy of the 2016 presidential election.
Democrats have spent the last four years screeching about former President Donald Trump and his accusations of election interference in 2020. However, the irony is those same Democrats have stood by Clinton as she has been claiming that the 2016 election was stolen for years.
Clinton has repeatedly stated that the 2016 election was stolen and that Trump was an illegitimate President. She even rehashed those complaints on Thursday this time claiming that AI would make 2016 "look primitive."
What's worse, she claimed that Russia somehow had hacked the elections and switched votes. Democrats were happy to accept that outlandish theory but four years later found that accusations of rigging were implausible.
The truth is Democrats don't actually care about questioning elections unless it's a Republican who is asking inconvenient questions.
Democrats have gone as far as to prosecute Trump for "election interference" but Clinton was allowed to deny the 2016 election while facing no accusations of destabilizing the nation.
In 2019, Clinton claimed that Trump was an “illegitimate president,” during an interview with CBS News.
Former President Jimmy Carter also supported Clinton's claim saying, "He lost the election and he was put into office because the Russians interfered on his behalf."
Democrats had no issue with these statements but following the 2020 presidential election Americans have been subjugated to ceaseless screeching about election denial and the sanctity of acknowledging the legitimacy of the results.
Denying an election or questioning the results is not a crime and was something that both political parties did in every major election. However, this does serve as a reminder of how dishonest and untrustworthy the Democrat Party truly is.
Americans shouldn't ignore Clinton's hypocritical behavior despite her loss in 2016 as she still plays a major role in American politics, especially behind the scenes.
Clinton may be playing a greater role in American politics than the average citizen is aware of. Former Democrat Representative Tulsi Gabbard told former Fox News host Tucker Carlson that it wasn't “a leap of imagination” to think that Clinton is doing more to lead the United States than President Joe Biden.
Gabbard stated, "It’s not a leap of imagination to know that that’s true when you look at the people who are in Joe Biden’s administration. They are the people who were the right hands for the Obama administration, for President Obama and for Hillary Clinton. When Hillary Clinton said herself the other day, she said, ‘Oh yeah, I talk to the White House every day!'"
Americans rejected Clinton twice and yet she is likely still pulling at the levers of power all while she still does the very thing she bashes Trump for doing.
