Harris says Biden made big mistake with Elon Musk

Kamala Harris is doing everything she can to get her profile revived in the eyes of the American people.

She has been hammering Republicans over the shutdown, pushing the usual Democrat talking points.

However, she also just threw Joe Biden under the bus, saying he made a “huge mistake” with Elon Musk that wound up driving him to Trump’s camp.

The Shutdown

Harris is pushing the narrative that since the GOP has the White House and both chambers of Congress, this shutdown is on them.

She stated, “The Republicans control the House. They control the Senate. They control the White House. They are in charge, and they are responsible for the shutdown.”

That is a bit skewed for anyone who knows how Congress works, however.

Even though the GOP has the majority, it does not have the numbers to pass anything, so it needs Democrat votes. And if all of the Republicans are voting to pass a piece of legislation, and not enough Democrats are supporting, how can you say the shutdown is on the GOP and not the Democrats?

Elon Musk Backing Trump

I have to be honest in that I was very surprised to see Elon Musk aggressively jump into the political scene.

During the last cycle, Musk reportedly spent more than $275 million to support Trump and other Republicans in the election cycle.

Most of that money went to Musk’s PAC, the American PAC, but he was also very active on the trail, and regularly appeared with Trump during his campaign events.

During one event, Musk told attendees, "This is the most important election in your lifetime. If there's any election where you ever vote, it should be this one."

Big Mistake

Harris seems to be putting Musk's backing of Trump on Joe Biden, pushing the former president under the bus once again.

She stated, "I write in the book that I thought it was a big mistake to not invite Elon Musk when we did a big EV event.

"I mean, here he is, the major American manufacturer of extraordinary innovation in this space.” She then added, "So, I thought that was a mistake, and I don’t know Elon Musk, but I have to assume that that was something that hit him hard and had an impact on his perspective.”

So, once again, Harris is laying the seeds that she was not responsible for any of the bad. If she wanted Musk there, why did she not take a bigger stance to have him there? After all, Harris claims that she was often the last person in the room with Biden.
