Harris clearly agitated when reporter calls out her pivot

If there is one thing we have learned over the last few years, it is that Kamala Harris does not take kindly to being challenged.

The problem for Harris is that she is a horrible public speaker and often tries to avoid questions she does not like with tangential word salads. Well, that did not work with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s Sarah Ferguson.

Bothering Kamala

If you have been following Kamala’s headlines, and I don’t blame you if you haven't, she has been on a whirlwind book tour to promote her whiny memoir about her disastrous campaign.

She has not been well-received outside the usual liberal horde, and her events have been broken up several times by protesters.

What makes matters worse is that Harris has tried to come up with some cute quips, but she often flubs those as well, looking rather foolish and dumbfounded.

For instance, when one group of pro-Palestine protesters interrupted her event, she asked the protesters, “Are you the same person who was telling people not to vote?” That is about as weak a comeback as you could offer, and it just fell flat.

Coming back

I truly thought the best move Harris could make to keep her political career alive would have been to run for governor of California, serve at least one full term, then take a shot at the presidency again based on how the temperature was on her at the time.

Instead, she wrote a book, went on a tour, and it appears that she will try to run for president for a third time.

During a recent interview, she stated, "I am not done. I have lived my entire career as a life of service and it's in my bones."

Now, I would say it was more a career of public corruption, but that’s just me.

World Class Pivot

If you read my posts regularly, you are subject to me going off on reporters for failing to ask tough follow-up questions, as well as allowing politicians to go off on a tangent to avoid the question that was asked

When Ferguson asked Harris about not asking hard questions about Biden’s mental health during the presidency, Harris deviated and started whining about Trump, but Ferguson was not having it.

She actually told Kamala to her face that it was a “world-class pivot,” then tried to get her back on track. The look on Harris’ face was worth the price of admission for sure…

That is what we need to see more of from reporters who cover politics. You cannot allow these people to control the interview and get away from the question being asked. This was a master class in staying in control, so I hope Fox News was watching!
