The cowardly Hamas terrorist attack on Israel earlier this month has the world waiting on edge to see how Israel responds.
In the meantime, more information is coming to light regarding the incentives Hamas terrorists were promised for taking hostages during their surprise attack on Israel.
According to the Daily Caller, one captured Hamas terrorist revealed to authorities that members of the terrorist organization were promised $10,000 and an apartment.
Israeli forces have reported that similar stories and themes have been repeated by other captured Hamas terrorists.
As Israeli intelligence officials interrogate some of the Hamas terrorist hostages who stormed the border on Oct. 7 and committed cowardly atrocities, it was revealed that Hamas leaders were offering attractive incentives to capture Israeli hostages.

"[W]hoever brings a hostage back [to Gaza] gets $10,000 and an apartment," one captured terrorist said he was told by Hamas leadership.
The idea of incentivizing terrorists to carry out deadly acts isn't a new idea.
The Daily Caller noted:
Money given to terrorists for violent acts is not a new phenomena in the region. The Palestinian Authority, led by Hamas’ rival Fatah, has a “pay to slay” policy, where money is given to any terrorist (or their families) when they participate in terror attacks against Israelis.
It added:
When it came to killing Israelis, the agents were reportedly told not to distinguish between civilians and soldiers. When the Hamas terrorists were pressed on whether Islam permitted the acts they carried out, they responded, “No. Islam does not permit the killing of women and children,” The Jerusalem Post noted.

Of course, the immediate question is: How would Hamas fund such incentives? Many believe Iran is the bank, and always has been.
"Wonder where they get the money from?" one X user wrote.
As the United States and Israel continue to delay the ground invasion of the Gaza Strip, the terrorist group continues to let out a trick of hostages.
