Hamas executes 3 Palestinians in Gaza for alleged ties to Israel before a cheering crowd

In a chilling display of violence, three Palestinians accused of collaborating with Israel were publicly executed by masked Hamas members in Gaza on Sunday, as a crowd shouted in support, the New York Post reported.

On Sunday, the brutal public execution of three Palestinians by Hamas, accused of aiding Israel, unfolded before a cheering crowd in Gaza, with disturbing footage of the event circulating online.

The incident took place in broad daylight, with the condemned men blindfolded and forced to kneel as their fates were decided.

Shocking Public Display of Punishment

A group of four Hamas members oversaw the grim event, with three acting as gunmen while a fourth read a prepared statement to justify the killings.

According to an English translation provided to The Telegraph by The Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting and Analysis, the statement referenced Palestinian revolutionary law as the basis for the death penalty.

The fourth member declared, “Pursuant to the content of Palestinian revolutionary law and based on the Palestinian revolutionary court, a death sentence was decided against those who betrayed the homeland, betrayed their people and betrayed their cause, and put [themselves] hand-in-hand with the occupation in order to kill their own people.”

Harrowing Footage Captures Crowd’s Reaction

As the statement was read, the crowd could be heard chanting, “Allahu Akbar!” in fervent support of the act.

The three men were then shot in the head and upper body, their lives ended in a matter of moments.

After the gunfire, handwritten notes in Arabic were placed on their bodies, ominously warning, “Your betrayal will not pass without punishment. A harsh punishment awaits.”

Hamas Labels Victims as Outlaws

Hamas’ ministry of the interior later issued a statement describing the executed individuals as a “group of outlaws” for their supposed collaboration with Israel.

Disturbing footage of the killings was shared on a Telegram channel affiliated with Hamas, amplifying the reach of the violent message.

The Israeli newspaper Israel Hayom reported that other groups, including Islamic Jihad and the Mujahideen Brigades—both designated as terror organizations by the United States—were involved in carrying out the executions.

Broader Context of Regional Tensions

This incident occurred less than 24 hours after Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia officially recognized Palestine as a member state of the United Nations, a move opposed by both the United States and Israel.

Public executions by Hamas are not isolated events, as the group has a history of such acts against those accused of disloyalty or criminal behavior in Gaza.

In May, for instance, Hamas executed six Palestinians for allegedly looting humanitarian aid and shot another 13 in the legs as a form of punishment, underscoring a pattern of harsh measures against perceived threats to their authority.
