President Joe Biden has a lot of problems as far as his 2024 presidential campaign is concerned, but his latest problem is developing into a total nightmare.
Biden has thoroughly upset progressive voters in Michigan, a crucial swing state in the upcoming election -- one that many believe Biden has to win to have a shot at beating former President Donald Trump.
There's been massive campaign among progressives upset with Biden over his approach to the Israel-Hamas war to not vote for Biden, which could severely hurt his chances.
According to the Guardian, the situation is so dire that Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer -- a Biden cheerleader -- has been forced to beg progressive voters in her state to ignore the call to snub Biden.
Whitmer, like many other Democrats, know that if Biden loses Michigan -- where's he's already behind in the polls -- it'll essentially hand Trump a 2024 victory. She put out a call this week to urge angry Democrats to ignore the campaign against Biden.
"It’s important not to lose sight of the fact that any vote that’s not cast for Joe Biden supports a second Trump term," she said during a recent CNN interview.

The governor added, "A second Trump term would be devastating. Not just on fundamental rights, not just on our democracy here at home, but also when it comes to foreign policy. This was a man who promoted a Muslim ban."
Not surprisingly, Whitmer happens to be a co-chair for Biden's 2024 campaign. Obviously, she received a call from up above to get out there and attempt to quash the growing progressive movement against Biden.
The warning from Whitmer comes in the wake of Squad member Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), one of the high-profile voices urging Democrats to vote "uncommitted" in the Michigan primary.
Users across social media reacted to Whitmer's warning.
"It sure would be devastating for people like her— a toxic scheming democrat," one X user wrote.
Another X user wrote, "It's only devastating to the criminals in government when President Trump is back in office."
Only time will tell if Democrats in Michigan listen to their governor's warning. President Biden had better hope so.
