A top GOP congresswoman wants to see Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) punished for his role in the Russia bank hoax against former President Donald Trump.
Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) shared her plans during an interview on Fox News.

“I will speak to Adam Schiff. Maria, I have a privileged resolution that I’m bringing to the floor, and we are going to fine that man 16 million dollars for using his position to lie to the American people, and ultimately push something that not only destroyed our country but ripped us apart and I believe, maybe even permanently damaging foreign relations. He is a criminal and Adam Schiff; you will be held accountable,” Paulina Luna said.
“And yet, he was privileged to information that not even I or many of my colleagues would be able to see,” Paulina Luna went on to say. “He used that position. He absolutely aided and abetted a corrupt FBI into investigating a sitting president.”

"Earlier this month, the Florida congresswoman filed a motion to censure, condemn and impose a $16 million fine on Schiff for allegedly lying to the American people about the investigation," Trending Politics reported.
"The move came not long after the Durham report confirmed that the FBI opened the Trump-Russia investigation without any significant evidence to back claims of collusion," it added.

The congresswoman has also spoken out on the recent FBI informant against President Joe Biden.
"Just left meeting for House Oversight. The FBI is afraid their informant will be killed if unmasked, based on the info he has brought forward about the Biden family," Luna wrote.
The congresswoman's role in the investigations is an important part of both discovering the facts about the claims against Trump and bringing punishment against those involved.
If Paulina Luna gets her way, Schiff would be out of the House. At the least, she hopes to see some type of punishment for his role in the Russia scandal.
The years-old hoax has now been investigated so long that it also may impact the upcoming 2024 election as Trump is once again seeking to return to his former role.
