Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) is calling for contempt charges against Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) for assisting Hunter Biden.
Biggs may the plea in a letter to the House Oversight Committee after Swalwell reserved a spot for Hunter Biden's press conference to defy a congressional subpoena.

"Nobody gets to do that," Biggs told Fox News. "He was sent subpoenas. He was told to appear."
"We're going to vote to hold him in contempt. We probably need to vote Eric Swalwell in contempt, because the rumor is that Mr. Swalwell aided and abetted him by setting up his facilities so he could have his [press] conference across the way," he added.

"At first, one had to wonder whether Swalwell had simply wandered by the presser on the way to his office. But the Biden team set up the conference on the Senate side — out of the reach of the House sergeant at arms, who might not have reacted well to an act of open contempt of Congress on his side of the Capitol," the Hill reported.
"We later learned that Swalwell was not there simply as a pedestrian, but as a participant. It was Swalwell who helped orchestrate the defiance of his own House and facilitated an alleged federal crime," it continued.

"Swalwell, a Judiciary Committee member, "AIDED AND ABETTED" a crime by collaborating with Hunter Biden's lawyer, Abbe Lowell, to assist Hunter in defying a Congressional subpoena," Chuck Callesto wrote on X.
"Swalwell is an attorney from California's 14th congressional and could possibly face disbarment among other sanctions," he noted.
Hunter Biden also faces charges in California related to tax evasion that could include significant prison time.
Swalwell continues to serve in the House despite allegations of a sexual relationship with a Chinese spy.
The ongoing concerns could result in charges against Swalwell for his help for Hunter Biden in a new case following the recent actions.
