On Sunday morning, we started to see pictures surface from the Situation Room during the attack against Iran.
There was one key official noticeably missing... Tulsi Gabbard.
Last week, a reporter set Donald Trump up with a question about the assessment regarding Iran's nuclear capabilities given by Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard.
The media latched on to a 30-second snippet of Gabbard’s testimony, which was that the Supreme Leader had not developed a nuclear weapon and no order had been given to develop one.
In the part of her statement that was not referenced, she stated that Iran had its highest level of enriched uranium, as well as the fact that Iran did have the capability of producing a weapon, likely within weeks or months of the go-ahead being given...
The dishonest media is intentionally taking my testimony out of context and spreading fake news as a way to manufacture division. America has intelligence that Iran is at the point that it can produce a nuclear weapon within weeks to months, if they decide to finalize the… pic.twitter.com/mYxjpJY2ud

Trump clearly never read or listened to her full assessment because if he had, he could have called out the media for its dishonesty rather than pouring more gasoline on this fire.
Trump not only called Gabbard wrong, but he said everyone was wrong, stating, "She's wrong. My intelligence community is wrong."
They are not wrong, and they are literally saying the same thing that Trump has been telling the media in regard to Iran having the capabilities of producing a weapon, but Trump is now trying to be the smartest person in the room.
Let me ask this question... if Trump’s entire intelligence community is wrong, where is he getting the information that Iran is capable of producing a nuclear weapon? Think about it
The fact that Trump had doubled down on this is worrisome to me because it shows that he is likely not reading these briefs in full.
Had Trump done his homework, he would have been able to call the reporter out on the spot as dishonest, citing Gabbard’s full assessment, and accusing them of cherry-picking quotes to try to show dissent in the administration. This was a big misstep by Trump, attacking a member of his administration when he should have been defending her.
On Sunday, pictures were posted from the Situation Room during the attack on Saturday, and while Trump was surrounded by his top military officials and advisers, Gabbard was not pictured.
Typically, the top intelligence officials would be in the room to relay any last-second information regarding the strike, so Gabbard’s absence is fairly significant here, if she was, in fact, missing.
According to White House officials, Gabbard was in the room, just not shown in any of the pictures, as were White House deputy chiefs Dan Scavino and James Blair, press secretary Karoline Leavitt, national security council member Andy Baker, White House general counsel David Warrington and Special Envoy for the Middle East Steve Witkoff, all of whom were also not shown in the first run of photos.
Vance has already publicly issued support for Gabbard, but I would really like to see Trump make a statement about her as well, admitting that he misspoke (but we all know that will never happen). If I were Gabbard, I would be livid right now, but I don’t know how Trump corrects this without admitting he was wrong, and since Trump never believes he is wrong, it is going to have to be up to Gabbard to make the call ot eat this one or let it drive a wedge between her and Trump. I just know if I were in her shoes, I would be fuming.
