Former acting CIA chief reveals the truth about the Hunter Biden laptop coverup

According to the New York Post, Mike Morell - the former acting CIA director - recently revealed new details about the Hunter Biden laptop coverup.

To refresh the reader's memory, the coverup occurred during the lead-up to the 2020 presidential election between then-candidate Joe Biden and then-President Donald Trump.

At the time, the New York Post published a bombshell story claiming a laptop of Hunter Biden had been found to contain information that appears to show political corruption in the Biden family.

The mainstream media and Big Tech promptly attempted to squash the story claiming that it was "Russian disinformation." Thanks to internal Twitter communications that have been released by new Twitter owner Elon Musk, we now know that at least some of the people making this claim knew that there was no support for it.

But, on top of the mainstream media's and Big Tech's efforts to discredit the Post's Hunter Biden laptop story, there also emerged a letter from some 50 U.S. intelligence officials who also claimed that the Post's story was "Russian disinformation." And, here, we know for a fact that U.S. intelligence knew that this was simply not true.

Recently, Morell provided sworn testimony, in private, to the House Judiciary Committee. And, in that testimony, Morell claimed that Secretary of State Antony Blinken - who, at the time of the letter, was a senior adviser to Biden's campaign - was a pivotal player in getting the letter signed by 51 U.S. intelligence officials.

The Post reports:

In private sworn testimony, Morell told the House Judiciary Committee that Antony Blinken, now secretary of state, was the senior campaign official who reached out to him “on or before” Oct. 17, 2020, three days after The Post published an email from the laptop suggesting Hunter had introduced his Ukrainian business partner to his father, then-Vice President Biden.

Morell also admitted that he organized the letter to “help Vice President Biden … because I wanted him to win the election.”

Morell then took the House Republicans through the process of getting the signatures and getting the letter published.

To put this all into perspective, it now appears that the Biden campaign played a huge role in suppressing the Hunter Biden laptop story, which - as numerous polls have shown - had a significant impact on the 2020 presidential election, which, of course, Biden won.

The White House is now trying to push back on this story.

White House spokesman Ian Sams has accused the House Judiciary Committee of making a "highly misleading selective leak" of Morell's testimony.

Sams, on Friday, tweeted:

Wow. Fuller transcript newly released by @HouseJudiciary reveals this was a highly misleading selective leak by @Jim_Jordan, @RepMikeTurner and @JudiciaryGOP.

Sams did not elaborate.
