"That gas is here in Arcadia. I don't know about the rest of y'all, but it's here in Arcadia, so y'all know who we're voting for," the man said.
"I don't know about the rest of you motherf*ckers, but I'm voting for DeSantis, and I'm a Democrat," he added. "So y'all can call him what the f*ck y'all want to call him."

The positive response is a strong contrast to natural disasters in other parts of the nation. In California, Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom has been repeatedly blasted over his handling of the state's failing electric grid over heat and wildfires.
The response is also a strong contrast to Hurricane Katrina, which saw massive frustration with the government's response following the epic storm. DeSantis has a huge battle ahead after Ian, but it seems at least one Democrat is happy with the efforts so far.
