Fetterman releases picture of recent injury

Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) has been in the news quite a bit lately.

First, it was for fighting Democrats in the government shutdown, then it was to promote his new book, “Unfettered.”

At the end of the week, he took a nasty fall, then blew up the internet, posting a picture of the damage that was done during the fall.

Should Have Quit

Fetterman’s fall was rather odd timing, considering some of the content in his book.

Fetterman said that he was in a very dark place during his campaign, reading all the comments people were saying about him after his disastrous debate performance.

The PA Democrat admitted, “I should have quit.”

He explained that his wife wanted him out of the house because she did not believe his mental state was good for their children. Fetterman wound up moving in with his parents for a spell while he tried to mentally and physically recover from his stroke.

Fetterman Takes a Fall

Fetterman’s health has not been top of mind for quite some time, but it is back again after his office announced that he had taken a bad fall near his Pennsylvania home.

His spokesperson announced, “During an early morning walk, Senator Fetterman sustained a fall near his home in Braddock.

“Out of an abundance of caution, he was transported to a hospital in Pittsburgh.

“Upon evaluation, it was established he had a ventricular fibrillation flare-up that led to Senator Fetterman feeling light-headed, falling to the ground and hitting his face with minor injuries.”

Getting Better

Fetterman posted about the injury himself, explaining that he had 20 stitches, but he was back home with his wife and children, recovering.

He had even joked about his appearance, stating, "If you thought my face looked bad before, wait until you see it now!"

Based on his post, Fetterman does not appear to plan on missing any time in the Senate, which is good news for the GOP right now, as he has been very supportive of the GOP budget legislation…

Fetterman has been a secret weapon for the GOP during this budgetary fight with the Democrats. He was adamantly against shutting down the government, he backs Trump’s immigration agenda, at least for the most part, and he also backs Trump’s agenda with Israel.
