For months, all we have been hearing from the Democrats is the villainizing of ICE.
I have stated time and again that it was only a matter of time before blood was spilled on this front.
It happened near Chicago, and it just happened again in Los Angeles.
I was watching videos over the weekend of the No Kings rallies that were held, and one in particular caught my attention.
At a Chicago rally, a man grabbed the microphone and stated, "You gotta grab a gun, we gotta turn around the guns on this fascist system.”
He continued, "These ICE agents gotta get shot and wiped out. The same machinery that’s on full display right there has to get wiped out."
With this type of rhetoric, how long before someone on either side of this loses their life?
Criminal organizations are seizing on this, setting bounties against federal agents and bosses.
DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin explained, “It’s not just Chief Bovino who has a bounty on his head. We actually just found out from recent reporting that there’s more bounties. We have reports -- $2,000 for a single ICE agent to be killed, $5,000 for a mid-tier officer. It’s really disgusting what’s happening.”
According to reports, the bounty offered for Chief Bovino was $50,000.
You don’t think that is going to get some lunatic off their couch to try to cash in? The fact Democrats are calling these agents Nazis emboldends these criminal groups to put these bounties out there, in my opinion.
The incident that took place in a Chicago suburb was a precursor to what happened in Los Angeles this week.
On Wednesday morning, the wire was blowing up over an illegal, Carlitos Ricardo Parias, ramming agents with his vehicle, and he wound up being shot.
Acting U.S. Attorney Bill Essay explained, “Ultimately, an agent opened fire, wounding Parias and a deputy US marshal, who was hit with a ricochet bullet. Fortunately, both the deputy marshal and Parias are expected to recover.”
I was warning about this problem long before the incident in Chicago, and like the attempts on Trump’s life, I do not believe this will be the final attack against ICE agents. The rhetoric needs to stop because at some point, someone is going to lose their life, and regardless of what side that person is on, all hell will break loose when that happens.
