Feds arrest dozens in New Jersey workplace raid

If you are an illegal immigrant, you are not legally permitted to work in this country.

If you are a business owner, you are not supposed to be hiring illegal immigrants.

They have both been warned time and again, yet the practices continue, which means that Tom Homan and ICE will continue to conduct workplace raids, just like the one that recently happened in New Jersey.

Raids will continue

After Donald Trump took office, raids of this nature immediately started, much to the chagrin of liberals and Democrats.

Though pressure was applied for the administration to back away from this type of initiative, Trump’s border czar, Tom Homan, broke the bad news to everyone.

He stated, “The message is clear now that we’re going to continue doing worksite enforcement operations, even on farms and hotels, but based on a prioritized basis. Criminals come first.”

The Department of Homeland Security added, "There will be no safe spaces for industries who harbor violent criminals or purposely try to undermine ICE’s efforts.”

Warned again

In September, a Georgia Hyundai factory was raided, and hundreds were apprehended.

Of course, the outrage in the media was directed towards the administration rather than towards the factory that was not following our labor and immigration laws.

Homan warned everyone again when asked if these raids would continue, stating, "The short answer is yes. We‘re going to do more worksite enforcement operations because number one, it‘s a crime to enter this country illegally."

He continued, “Number two, it‘s a crime to knowingly hire an illegal alien, and these companies that hire illegal aliens, they undercut the competition that's paying U.S. citizen salaries."

Get the message

I have some friends, even some conservative friends, who believe this is taking things too far, but I do not. The reason is the trickle-down effect of illegal immigration, so as far as I am concerned, deport them all.

To that point, there was just a massive raid at a New Jersey workplace, and once again, dozens of illegals were apprehended who were being employed by the company. According to the report, more than 20% of the workers were unauthorized to work here.

DHS stated, "DHS is committed to maintaining the highest levels of security and accountability within bonded facilities to protect both U.S. commerce and the public.”

In my opinion, not only should these workers be deported immediately, but the business should be slapped with a massive fine for hiring illegal workers. You want to deter businesses from hiring them? Hit them with a penalty that far outweighs their savings for hiring illegals, and they will start to get the message.
