Tashia Bridges, or “Cheena,” was also on this list alongside Dimas Rodriguez, Jose M. Ortiz, Jose L. Ortiz, Richard Beaudoin, Richard Zina, and Curtis Rooth, also called “Scooter.”
Specific homes were searched during this operation. On Thursday, law enforcement targeted Jemuel Jose Vega-Gomez’s location in New Britain. Inside, agents seized significant amounts of cocaine and discovered a firearm equipped with an extended magazine.
Vega-Gomez had previously been connected to several drug deals at observed sites. He was taken into custody on the premises.
Evidence also showed Vega-Gomez's involvement in a transaction in Holyoke, Massachusetts, thereby extending the reach of this investigation beyond state lines.
Another raid occurred at the Rocky Hill residence of Jose Rivera on Thursday. Here, authorities found 500 grams of a substance believed to be fentanyl alongside a smaller amount of suspected cocaine. Additional discoveries included a firearm and various passports.
Rivera, like Vega-Gomez, was also tied to drug exchanges in monitored locations. Both men were apprehended at their respective homes during this simultaneous effort to dismantle portions of a larger drug network.
