Just as President Joe Biden gears up for his second run at the Oval Office, an FBI whistleblower could soon derail his career ambitions if House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) has anything to say about it.Â
According to Breitbart, after weeks of pressing the FBI to turn over an alleged incriminating document regarding then-vice President Joe Biden, which was brought to light by an FBI whistleblower, Chairman Comer scored a massive victory after subpoenas previously failed.
Breitbart reported that FBI Director Christopher Wray agreed that select House members will be able to view the document, which could contain evidence of a $5 million bribery scheme between Biden and a foreign national.
Comer had sought the document for months, and the FBI stonewalled his committee the entire time.
The reported document, known in government speak as a FD-1023, "allegedly details an arrangement involving an exchange of money for policy decisions between now-President Joe Biden and a foreign national."
🚨On my call with FBI Director Wray, the FBI finally confirmed the existence of the FD-1023 form alleging then-VP Joe Biden engaged in a criminal bribery scheme.
Anything short of producing these documents to @GOPoversight is not in compliance with my subpoena.

"Chairman Comer will receive a briefing from the FBI and review the document on Monday. Chairman Comer has been clear that anything short of producing the FD-1023 form to the House Oversight Committee is not compliance with his subpoena," a House Oversight Committee spokesperson told Breitbart News.
They added: "This unclassified record contains pages of details that need to be investigated further by the House Oversight Committee."
Before Wray finally agreed to allow a review of the document, Comer vowed to begin the process to hold the director in contempt over the weeks of stonewalling. Breitbart reported that Comer still intends to do so.
Not surprisingly, when asked about the committee reviewing the document, the FBI responded as if nothing out of the ordinary had taken place.
"Director Wray offered to provide the Committee’s Chairman and Ranking Member an opportunity to review information responsive to the subpoena in a secure manner to accommodate the committee, while protecting the confidentiality and safety of sources and important investigative sensitivities,” the FBI told Just the News.
The agency added: "The FBI has continually demonstrated its commitment to working with the Committee to accommodate its request, from scheduling briefings and calls to now allowing the Chair to review information in person."
All eyes will undoubtedly be on the Oversight Committee on Monday as it reviews the document.
What it means for Biden's future is anyone's guess, but if what the whistleblower said is true, drastic legal actions should immediately be taken.
