FBI agent involved in Hunter Biden probe resigns

The agent involved in the Hunter Biden probe has reportedly resigned, according to a new report.

Tim Thibault, the FBI agent involved in the case, has left the agency as questions arise regarding bias related to Hunter Biden.

"It is no coincidence in my mind that you have the Joe Rogan interview with [Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg] that reveals that the FBI clearly made a connection of Russian disinformation in the Hunter Biden release. You then have some of the specific agents in question like Tim Thibault," former Utah federal prosecutor Brett  Tolman told "The Story" on Fox News.

"This is cataclysmic in terms of how bad it looks and how much mistrust it is going to instill in these agencies," Tolman added.

The new resignation came just as Joe Rogan interviewed Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg over a Russian disinformation connection related to the Hunter laptop scandal.

Republicans are promising to investigate, but first they'll have to win back power in the House in November to have the advantage in moving forward.
