Fani Willis reportedly gave alleged lover's legal firm huge contracts

Former President Donald Trump faces multiple indictments that resulted in 91 charges against him.

While most believed that a majority of the charges were bogus and would likely not stick, the only concerns of serious charges were those issued out of Georgia under Fulton County DA Fani Willis.

However, even that case is in jeopardy due to bombshell revelations of her alleged relationship with prosecutor Nathan Wade, raising more questions about the level of conflict of interest in the case, Breitbart reported.

In the wake of allegations that Willis had a romantic relationship with Wade, she has also reportedly paid him significantly more than qualified prosecutors on the case.

Breitbart now reports that Willis reportedly gave "significant" legal contracts to her alleged lover's legal partner.

The outlet noted:

The Office of the District Attorney paid Christopher Campbell, a partner at Wade & Campbell Firm, as much as $126,000 since 2021, the Daily Caller reported Friday. “Willis hired Campbell to provide services as a ‘Taint Attorney’ reviewing privileged evidence beginning in Jan. 2021 at a rate of $150 an hour,” documents obtained by the Daily Caller show:

Making matters worse for Willis and Wade are allegations, according to court documents, that the two had a romantic relationship that clearly benefited Wade and his partner.

The Daily Caller noted in its report:

  • Willis appointed Campbell’s partner, Nathan Wade, as a special prosecutor in her prosecution of former President Donald Trump.

  • Willis and Wade are romantic partners, a motion filed last week by a co-defendant in the Trump case alleged.

  • The motion claims Willis financially benefited from the romantic relationship.

John Malcolm, vice president for the Heritage Foundation’s Institute for Constitutional Government, explained to the Daily Caller that it appears Willis was deceptive in reporting the contracts.

"It’s not just the issue about Wade being her paramour and the issue of kickbacks, but she also got the funds by misleading the Fulton County Commissioners about what the funds were going to be used for," Malcolm said.

He added, "In addition to that, it would enrich [Wade’s] firm."

Trump and his surrogates have already called for the case to be dismissed -- again -- after the mind-blowing revelations.

A judge has ordered Willis to respond to the romantic relationship and corruption allegations by Feb. 2.

There's no telling at this point where this case is headed, but it's starting to look a lot better for Trump's side.
