L.A. Police Department is looking for possible additional victims after arresting a celebrity photographer for suspected sexual assault, something police are taking very seriously.
The suspect was accused of sexual assault in 2017 by two more women, according to the findings of a subsequent inquiry regarding the matter, as NBC Los Angeles has reported.
The celebrity photographer was taken into custody by the Los Angeles Police Department after he was accused of sexually abusing a lady at his photographic studio.
The cops believe that there may be further victims of this alleged assault. Kenneth Howard Dolin, 64, was taken into custody on Monday as a result of the complaint.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Dolin is a "well-known photographer and acting coach."
A woman who was 29 years old said that the suspect had sexually abused her in his house or studio in the Wilshire Division, according to the police.
There were two more women who accused Dolin of sexual assault in 2017, according to the findings of a subsequent investigation. Whether he was charged in connection with those incidents is unknown.
The Los Angeles Police Department stated that all three reports started with business contracts, which eventually led to the suspect inappropriately touching the women when they were engaged in photo shoots in his studio when they were by themselves.
“He has significant connections in the entertainment industry and has been known to solicit victims on modeling websites,” the Los Angeles Police Department said in a statement.
The latest report has led to Dolin being charged with penetration with a foreign object. This charge is related to the recent report.
At this time, he is no longer being kept in custody while the authorities continue their investigation.
"These victims felt trapped and had to comply with his advances," Detective Brent Hopkins, a supervisor with the Special Assault Section, said in a statement.
"There's a huge difference between art photography and sexual assault. We want to make sure we know everything that happened and make sure that line does not get crossed again."
There is a strong suspicion among the authorities that there are further victims, and they have been encouraging those victims to come forward with their information. An investigation is currently being carried out at this time.
