Ex-DNC insider Lindy Li alleges cover-up of Biden’s cognitive decline

A former Democratic insider has blown the whistle on what she claims was a deliberate effort to hide President Joe Biden’s mental decline.

Lindy Li, once a key DNC fundraiser, alleges a coordinated cover-up by Biden’s inner circle that silenced dissent and controlled narratives. Her revelations, shared in an exclusive Fox News Digital interview, paint a troubling picture of political manipulation.

One year after Biden’s disastrous debate performance prompted him to suspend his re-election campaign, Li claims the DNC and White House went to great lengths to conceal how age impacted his presidency.

Her accusations suggest a broader conspiracy to prop up a faltering leader. The story raises questions about transparency in the highest echelons of power.

Li’s concerns about Biden’s age began years ago, but she says they were met with hostility. In 2022, Sen. Tammy Duckworth privately told Li that Biden was too old to run again. Yet, by 2023, Duckworth was singing Biden’s praises on TV as his campaign co-chair—hypocrisy Li calls out with biting clarity.

Backlash for Speaking Out

Li faced severe pushback for questioning Biden’s fitness. She posed concerns to top DNC officials, including former chair Jaime Harrison and current chair Ken Martin, only to be brushed off. The DNC’s response, she claims, was to treat her like a pariah for daring to speak truth to power.

“I was banned from the Biden White House for telling the truth when it mattered,” Li told Fox News Digital. Her words sting with the weight of betrayal from a party she once served loyally.

The claim suggests a culture of fear within Democratic ranks, where dissent was crushed to maintain a facade. At a Feb. 3, 2024, event hosted by Li with Biden and Kamala Harris, her phone was confiscated.

A DNC coalition director instructed her not to post on social media. This heavy-handed control reeks of a party desperate to manage Biden’s image at all costs.

Social Media Crackdown

Li defied the DNC’s orders by posting an Instagram story of Biden at a separate dinner event. The DNC’s furious reaction—demanding she remove it—exposed their obsession with controlling the narrative. For a party preaching openness, such censorship is a bitter irony.

“To be treated like a complete criminal was just jarring for me,” Li said. She insists she only asked polite questions about Biden’s ability to lead, yet faced disproportionate wrath. The DNC’s overreach here smells like a cover-up dressed in bureaucratic zeal.

Li, one of the youngest members of the DNC’s National Finance Committee, felt her voice was ignored. “It was hard for me because I didn’t have the age or the gravitas,” she admitted. Youth and candor, it seems, were liabilities in a party clinging to an aging figurehead.

Damage Control Mode

Special Counsel Robert Hur’s report on Biden’s classified documents case described him as “a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.” The DNC, Li claims, instructed allies to undermine Hur’s character rather than address the report’s findings. “We were supposed to assassinate his character,” she revealed, exposing a strategy of deflection over accountability.

After Biden’s debate flop, campaign chair Jen O’Malley Dillon led a damage control briefing where emotions ran high. Li recounted misty-eyed staffers and others crying on a shuttle home, devastated by Biden’s performance. Yet, Dillon and Julie Rodriguez insisted Biden couldn’t drop out due to finance regulations—a claim Li suggests was more about loyalty than legality.

“They were in damage control mode,” Li said, describing orders to paint Biden as a “wizard behind closed doors.” The narrative of age equating to wisdom was a hollow talking point, one Li refused to parrot. Her defiance cost her dearly but earned her credibility.

Li’s exit from the Democratic Party in December 2024 was a final rebuke of its tactics. She accuses the DNC of paying influencers—including herself—to push their narrative.

This admission raises uncomfortable questions about the authenticity of political messaging in an era of manufactured consent.

Biden’s Cabinet members faced scrutiny before the House Oversight Committee, yet the DNC’s grip on the narrative held firm. Journalists like Jake Tapper, Li notes, only criticized Biden’s tenure after it was “safe” in books like "Original Sin." Her jab at Tapper’s belated courage—“nothing on the line for him”—is a sharp reminder of who truly risked their career.
