Fox News reported that the legendary singer-songwriter experienced significant health issues over the summer when he contracted a serious eye infection.

This condition has unfortunately resulted in limited vision in one of his eyes, posing a setback to his usual activities.

Elton John took to Instagram this Tuesday to inform his followers about his health. In his post, he detailed his ongoing battle with the infection and the slow process of recovery. "Over the summer, I've been dealing with a severe eye infection that has unfortunately left me with only limited vision in one eye," he disclosed.

"I am healing, but it's an extremely slow process and it will take some time before sight returns to the impacted eye," he added, sharing his struggles with his fans worldwide.
