Donald Trump's attorney accused of sexism by Judge Engoron

Judge Author Engoron, who is overseeing former President Donald Trump's fraud trial in New York, accused on of Trump's lawyers of "misogyny," following proceedings on Thursday.

Engoron went after Trump's lawyer Christopher Kise saying  "Do not refer to my staff again," after Kise raised an accusation of bias by a court clerk.

Engoron responded to Kise's accusation by saying, "Sometimes I think there's a bit of misogyny in you referring to my female principal law clerk, She's a civil servant."

At this point, another Trump attorney, Alina Habba, stepped in to defend Kise saying "I assure you that’s not the issue," in reference to the accusation of misogyny.

Habba went on to cite the frequent passing of notes to Engoron as the source for the Trump teams concern about bias by a member of the court. But Engoron wasn't interested in hearing any of it, which is no surprise considering his conduct throughout this case.

Completely hostile

Judge Engoron has made it clear that he is fanatically anti-Trump from the beginning of this case and his treatment of Trump and Trump's team has only reinforced that fact.

Engoron has also put a significant amount of legal energy into silencing the former President. Despite having his absurd gag orders put on pause by an appeals court, Engoron has still made Trump for expressing his 1st Amendment rights.

Trump has been fined a staggering $15,000 for two previous violations of Engoron's gag order and Engoron has threatened Trump with more serious consequences in the future.

Donald Trump has repeatedly called for Engoron to be disbarred and removed from his position a multitude of times.

The issue is Engoron hasn't taken kindly to Trump's protestations and is abusing his power in order to silence the leading Republican candidate ahead of the 2024 presidential election.

Trump has taken to Truth Social numerous times calling Engoron "CRAZY" and suggesting he should be "thrown off the Bench." Unfortunately, all that has done has cost the former President a lot of money.

Election interference

Judge Engoron claims he is protecting his staff, but what his gag order is really doing is preventing Trump from communicating to the public about an incredibly political trial.

Many Americans believe that the case against Trump is nothing more than a partisan witch hunt brought about by Democrat Attorney General Letitia James.

That means that transparency is paramount and any lack of transparency is tantamount to election interference.
