Former President Donald Trump might be facing multiple legal issues, but it doesn't mean he's done fighting, as was recently proven in court.
According to The Daily Wire, the former president is going after Christopher Steele, a former British spy and the person responsible for the infamous "Steel Dossier" that was proven to be a hoax.
The debunked and discredited dossier was originally used by federal law enforcement to attempt to create a narrative of collision between Trump and Russia.
The former president is suing Steele, writing in a witness statement that "not one of the damning allegations contained in the Steele reporting was ever corroborated."

The Daily Wire noted:
Funds from Hillary Clinton’s failed 2016 presidential campaign and the Democratic National Committee went toward Steele’s dossier, which made claims tying Trump to Russia that were later discredited.
Trump and his legal team laid out the ridiculous nature of the dossier, including that it contained "numerous false, phony or made-up allegations" that were actually taken seriously at the time, but later proved to be nothing more than a slimy attempt to discredit the president.
The former president, who dominates the GOP primary polls, made clear why he is taking Steel to court.
"The only way that I can fully demonstrate the total inaccuracies of the personal data in the dossier is to bring these proceedings and to prove, by evidence at trial, that the data are false," Trump's statement read.
JUST IN: President Trump is suing Christopher Steele, the British spy & originator of the infamous Steele Dossier which disgraced former FBI Director @Comey used to carry out a coup against President Trump. The lawsuits cited ‘shocking & scandalous claims’ https://t.co/lyrevbD5vT

Hugh Tomlinson, Trump's attorney on the case, wrote that Trump "suffered personal and reputational damage and distress" as a result of the false dossier. He added that the dossier contained "shocking and scandalous claims."
It's not the first time Trump has attempted to bring a lawsuit regarding the dossier. His first attempt of suing both FBI officials and failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton was tossed by a federal judge.
The entire ordeal was a waste of taxpayer money and federal resources.
It'll be interesting to see if Steele is forced to be held accountable for his actions at this point.
