Donald Trump comments on son Barron's height, reveals his favorite sport

The liberal media has worked overtime to create a narrative that suggests former first lady Melania Trump isn't interested in joining her husband on the campaign trail. They've also taken shots at his son, Barron Trump.

But according to Daily Mail, just before the New Hampshire primary kicked off, former President Donald Trump assured everyone that Melania would join him soon enough, and he also confirmed rumors regarding Barron Trump's height.

The presidential hopeful held nothing back in praising his extraordinarily tall son.

"He's a good boy, smart, good athlete, very good boy," Trump said, confirming the 17-year-old stands 6'8" tall.

The Daily Mail added:

During his Iowa caucus victory speech, Trump also revealed Barron prefers soccer to basketball and is so tall because he ate all of his late grandmother's food.

The former president's praise for his tall, teenage son came in the wake of statements he made about him during his Iowa victory speech, during which he revealed why he believes Barron grew so tall. He attributed his height to Melania Trump's mother, Barron's grandmother, who recently passed away.

"Great people, great parents to all of us, really. Great parents, but also to Barron. Boy, did she take care of Barron," Trump said at the time.

He added, "That's how he got so tall, he only ate her food."

As most tall people can relate, Barron is often asked if he prefers basketball as his favorite sport. While he said he likes basketball, he actually prefers to play soccer.

"I said you're gonna be a basketball player. He said, well I like soccer dad, actually. I thought... at you're height I like basketball better but you can't talk them into everything," the former president said during his speech.

Donald Trump also praised his wife, and expressed confidence that she will be joining him on the 2024 presidential campaign trail.

"She wants to make America great again, too," Trump said of his wife.

Donald Trump added, "I rely on her for advice and all the others. I think she will be very active in the sense of being active."
