Former President Donald Trump was just caught on a rather comedic video shanking a golf shot.

There are many unknowns about the video. It is unclear, for example, who captured it. And, it is also unclear when it was captured.

But, what is known is that the video was posted to Twitter on July 13. And, there is no doubt that it is former Trump who can be seen playing golf in the video. The course he is playing at is the Trump National Golf Club in Los Angeles, California.

The 22-second video starts off zoomed out, with the camera capturing multiple golf carts driving up the fairway toward the green. Then, about four seconds in, the video zooms in, and Trump, wearing a red hat, can be seen taking a golf club out of his bag and getting ready to perform a chip shot in order to get the ball onto the green.

The man operating the camera can be heard saying, "Trump's shooting right now."

Trump, with his club, then proceeds to stroll over to the ball. He lines himself up and takes two practice swings before addressing the ball. Up until this point, everything looked as it should - the practice swings looked competent.

But, unfortunately for Trump, his actual swing did not match his practice swings, and he ended up viscously shanking the ball to the right of the green - nowhere near where he was aiming.

The video operator can be heard, with a laugh, saying, "Oh, he shanked it. Oh my God, I got that on video!"

Trump, after shanking the shot, flails his arms a bit before walking back over to his cart and returning the club to his bag. Unfortunately, the video is too zoomed out to see Trump's reaction to the shank.

It is well-known that Trump loves golf. He received much negative press from the mainstream media during his presidency for taking some time to play some golf every so often.

Chances are Trump isn't too worried about the shank.

And, the fact that he can be found enjoying a round of golf suggests that he is also not worried about the widespread efforts of Democrats - including the administration of President Joe Biden - to get him.
