On President Joe Biden's watch, the U.S. southern border continues to be overrun, and apparently, the White House simply doesn't care.
According to Breitbart, a senior source from within the Department of Homeland Security revealed that DHS lacks any real plans to handle a predicted surge in illegal crossings as the Trump-era Title 42 policy ends this month.
Title 42 will be formally ended, per court order, on Dec. 21, leaving DHS, ICE, and other departments with almost zero recourse to handle the continued swarm of illegal aliens.
Migrant camps along the border are already being constructed by the cartel's people who profit off of trafficking illegals into the United States.
District Judge Emmet Sullivan ruled to end Title 42 on November 15.
With resources at the southern U.S. border long-exhausted from the onslaught of illegal crossings under the Biden administration, nobody is quite sure how a rush of hundreds of thousands of illegal migrants is going to further impact such a vulnerable area.
Breitbart noted: "The source adds that Border Patrol sector leaders have been instructed to prepare for a surge in migrant crossings by exploring additional detention facilities and working with non-government agencies to increase shelter space."
The end of Title 42 could lead to an “avalanche” of encounters at our southern border, according to our Border Patrol. The Biden administration’s open-border policies continue to endanger our communities.https://t.co/lGZoJoTknd

Some U.S. border towns, such as Eagle Pass, Texas, have admitted that they have no idea how the town will handle the expected surge.
Multiple migrant camps on the Mexican side of the southern border have been dismantled in recent weeks.
The camps often host hundreds, if not thousands, of illegal migrants from specific countries. One camp might have 400 Venezuelans, and other will have a camp full of people from other parts of Central America.
The Venezuelans had been camping out on the river across from El Paso, TX, waiting to cross into the U.S. once Title 42 drops next month.
In October, DHS began a new policy of expelling Venezuelans via Title 42. The camp is now cleared. MX offered the migtants buses to shelters.— Bill Melugin (@BillFOXLA) November 28, 2022
A staggering 206,000 illegals were apprehended by Border Patrol agents in November alone.
One can only imagine how bad it will be without the ability to send most of them back. Meanwhile, the Biden administration clearly doesn't care. Whatsoever.
