The ongoing Republican-led House probe into Hunter Biden and the family's influence-peddling scheme took another bizarre twist after bombshell news was revealed about Devon Archer's wife.
According to Breitbart, newly revealed legal documents show that Krista Archer still holds a 10% stake in Chinese state-backed investment fund, BHR Partners.
The documents were obtained by nonprofit Marco Polo and provided exclusively to Breitbart.
The development is significant, given that Krista Archer, a doctor specializing in foot medicine, told the Daily Mail that she had no idea of her husband's business dealings. Additionally, it raises questions as to why Devon Archer failed to disclose his family's large stake in the Chinese-controlled business before his recent testimony.
The investment firm was co-founded by Hunter Biden.
Breitbart noted:
Hunter Biden, Devon Archer, and Jonathan Li cofounded BHR Partners in 2013. The deal occurred ten days after then-Vice President Joe Biden and Hunter Biden visited China.
Jonathan Li, the CEO of the investment fund, is widely known for reaching out to then-Vice President Joe Biden through Hunter Biden and Devon Archer for advice about a college application for his son.
"I have no idea what he did in his business," Krista Archer told the outlet in July. "I’m a doctor, I go to work and mind my own business."
She added, "I swear I don’t. I stay out of it."
According to a signed “Equity Transfer Agreement,” Krista Archer acquired a ten percent stake in BHR Partners on March 18, 2017, from Devon Archer through Ulysses Diversified, Inc.

The documents obtained by Breitbart tell a wildly different story, and will undoubtedly make for a new twist in an already-complex investigation.
Breitbart noted:
Krista Archer’s stake in BHR Partners is notable because Devon Archer, Hunter Biden’s best friend in business, testified before Congress about BHR Partners without mentioning the Archer family’s ongoing interest in the global fund. Such information could be relevant to the congressional probe into the Biden family.
In his testimony last week, Devon Archer said that Hunter Biden had his father, Joe Biden, on speakerphone more than 20 times while speaking with his business partners or potential clients.
The White House, most Democrats, and their allies in the mainstream media have worked overtime to downplay or outright ignore the ongoing investigation. They've also called Archer's testimony into question, insisting that nothing illegal had been revealed.
Only time will tell if the case takes additional twists and turns. It looks like a good bet at this point.
